Body is an interactive, motion tracking installation I developed using openFrameworks, a C++ creative toolkit.
This interactive installation tracks a viewers movements within the installation space, using an Xbox 360's Kinect camera. As a viewer moves around, their silhouette is trailed and colorfully displayed back to the themself. This playful and visually engaging interactive work was created using C++, OpenGL, and openFrameworks.
Body was commissioned as an interactive installation for the University of Colorado Boulder’s Open Access Week, as well as Wonder Wonder Boulder, an experiential arts museum.
