EZBeats
My mission is to expose beginning music producers to the music editing environment. There’s a timeline with how tracks are added and audio that you can play around with. Currently, the user can play around with the online midi board and familiarize themselves with some 808 sounds. They can swap the sounds on the midi board with sounds from the selection box. The timeline box serves as a visual placeholder that can scrub the intervals and visualizes the tape head when the 'play' button is pressed.
The goal moving forward is to get the timeline to interact with the user pressing buttons on the midi board and even further, being able to create a track and export it.
This web-based application was made using React.js, Github pages, and the Planby React Component.
For beginner music producers who struggle with starting in music production, EZBeats brings ease to entering the realm.
With EZBeats you can create beats with existing audio in the library or you own and with a simple interface you can also edit to your heart's content.
